Job Title: Identity and Infrastructure Security Manager
Location: Utah (hybrid) or Remote
Job-Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $165K – $180K + Annual Bonus
Referral Fee: $3,000
Position Overview:
The Identity & Infrastructure Security Manager is a hands-on leadership role focused on safeguarding digital assets. This individual leads a technical team managing Identity & Access Management (IAM) and infrastructure security, combining deep technical knowledge with people leadership. The role involves staying ahead of evolving cyber threats and designing, implementing, and maintaining strong security controls across on-premises and cloud environments.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop IAM program and strategy, from detection and containment to root cause analysis and recovery.
- Coordinate with internal teams and MDR providers on escalated threats and investigations.
- Integrate lessons learned into continuous process and control improvements.
- Develop, review, and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Track and report key security metrics and KPIs to leadership and stakeholders.
- Support compliance with industry regulations and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, PCI, HIPAA).
- Design and implement scalable security solutions across identity systems, networks, servers, applications, and cloud platforms.
- Ensure effective deployment of technical and administrative controls to protect systems and data.
- Evaluate and improve security tools such as SIEMs, centralized logging, endpoint security, and access control systems.
- Lead and mentor a team of security engineers and analysts focused on IAM and infrastructure protection.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, technical excellence, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Oversee daily operations and project activities related to security monitoring, threat detection, and vulnerability management.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Proven experience leading technical security teams
- 5+ years in systems/network security roles
- CISSP or comparable advanced certification
- Expertise in IAM, threat modeling, vulnerability management, defense-in-depth
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, access control, and cloud configurations
- Strong Windows/Linux security knowledge and scripting skills
- Familiarity with Office 365 security features and centralized logging/SIEM tools
- Data analytics and security reporting experience
- Understanding of security frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001)

- Review and optimize controls and detection systems
- Architect and deploy secure solutions with IT partners
- Respond to and investigate security incidents
- Collaborate with MDR providers and internal stakeholders
- Mentor team members and promote security maturity across the business
