Job Title: Technical Business Analyst
Location: Remote
Job Type: Contract
Position Summary:
The role will play a key role in analyzing, configuring, testing, and supporting enterprise-level applications across the technology landscape. This individual will collaborate with internal stakeholders, third-party vendors, developers, and product teams to define requirements, drive improvements, and ensure the successful delivery of system enhancements. This role requires a strong blend of business acumen, technical proficiency, and critical thinking.
Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary liaison between business users and development teams to ensure business needs are translated into clear, actionable system requirements.

Partner with product owners, architects, and developers to translate business goals into solution designs.

Facilitate backlog grooming sessions, collaborate with analysts and developers, and help maintain a well-defined backlog of user stories.

Develop and maintain detailed documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and UI mockups.

Write and execute functional test scripts; coordinate integration and user acceptance testing across teams.

Perform detailed analysis and troubleshooting of application-related issues, escalating as necessary and ensuring timely resolution.

Evaluate system deliverables for quality, ensuring they meet defined standards and are free of defects.

Manage and prioritize work across multiple projects with varied stakeholders and timelines.
Required Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.

3–5 years of experience in a functional, business, or systems analyst role.

Proven experience in:
-
Developing user stories, requirements documentation, and process diagrams.
-
Utilizing a variety of elicitation techniques including interviews, workshops, and business process analysis.

Designing and documenting user interfaces and mockups.
-
Translating business needs into technical designs and functional specifications.
-
Working independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Managing conflicting priorities and gaining alignment across user groups.

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong time management and organizational skills.
-
General understanding of enterprise application architecture and data flow.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
-
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Proficiency with Azure DevOps for backlog management and documentation.
-
Experience in a technical/systems/integration analyst role.
-
Ability to read and understand SQL, including stored procedures, parameters, and data flows.

Formal training or certification in Business Analysis, Product/Project Management, or Group Facilitation.
