Job Title: IT Project Manager – ServiceNow SPM (Functional Support)
Employment Type: 6-Month Contract
Location: 100% Remote (U.S. or Nearshore LATAM)
Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM EST
About the Role:
An enterprise PMO is seeking a hands-on IT Project Manager with a functional background in ServiceNow SPM to support the rollout of a streamlined portfolio management solution. This is not a project leadership role, it’s a support-driven, functional role focused on user enablement and demand intake across a time-sensitive implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Level 1 functional support to internal users across ServiceNow SPM modules
Assist users with day-to-day “how-to” questions and platform navigation
Review and triage incoming demand requests, distinguishing between valid project work and break/fix items
Collaborate with team members to clarify requirements and define technical action items
Operate as a knowledge resource during HyperCare post-implementation phase
Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years in IT project support or coordination roles (not project management lead roles)
Functional, hands-on experience with ServiceNow SPM within the last 24 months
Familiarity with demand intake processes and project vs. operations differentiation
Strong working knowledge of tools like Excel, SmartSheets, and ServiceNow
Clear, professional communication skills; able to guide non-technical stakeholders
Able to work independently and within cross-functional teams
Nice to Have:
Experience in healthcare or enterprise IT environments
Exposure to Agile project methodologies
Additional Notes:
The team is under bandwidth constraints due to multiple team members on maternity leave
Candidates must be able to onboard quickly and support go-live scheduled for August
