Job Description
Job Title: Project Manager, Clinical Applications
Job Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire
Work Authorization: US Citizen/Green Card Only
Location: 100% Remote (5% travel max.)

Job Summary
The Project Manager, Clinical Applications will lead cross-functional initiatives that span clinical applications (e.g., Jiva, eCW, PioneerRx) and IT infrastructure. This role ensures timely delivery of projects that enhance clinical workflows, improve system performance, and align with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare IT, strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate across clinical, technical, and operational teams.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Manage end-to-end project lifecycles for Clinical Applications and IT initiatives, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Collaborate with Clinical Applications and IT Leadership and vendor partners to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Coordinate system upgrades, feature rollouts, and integrations across platforms like Jiva, eCW, and PioneerRx.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, including Core Team and Steering Committees, to ensure alignment and timely decision-making.
• Track and report on project milestones, risks, and dependencies using project management tools.
• Support intake and prioritization of enhancement requests and new initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards in all project activities.
• Partner with training and helpdesk teams to ensure smooth go-lives and user adoption.
• Delivers work within established timeframes. Must be able to manage/multi-task on several large, assigned projects.
• Applies proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve system issues to maximize system potential.
• Performs all other duties as needed or directed to meet the needs of the department.

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Project Management or a related field OR equivalent work experience.
• PMP or equivalent certification required.
• 2+ years of project management experience in healthcare IT or clinical systems.
• Experience with project management tool required (e.g., Smartsheet).
• Experience in healthcare IT environments strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience working in a matrixed environment with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with system configuration, testing, and go-live support. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work East Coast business hours and travel up to 10%.
• Experience with computer systems required, including web-based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Access.
• Effective customer service delivery, with strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work independently.
• Thrive in a team-oriented environment.
