Summary:

Gravity is seeking a Senior Security Engineer who will be responsible for the engineering, design, implementation, maintenance, monitoring, and analysis of the company’s security infrastructure. This role involves establishing processes and automating routine tasks to improve efficiency and reduce operational overhead. The ideal candidate will serve as a security lead on projects and be a well-rounded expert in all facets of information security.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Develop and execute a robust security technology strategy for both cloud and datacenter environments

  • Implement, configure, and maintain technical security solutions that protect organizational assets

  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and perform regular security controls checks and reporting

  • Define security requirements and work closely with Project and Development teams

  • Monitor and respond to current security threats across cloud and on-prem environments

  • Manage network control systems, firewall configurations, and network diagrams

  • Lead technical response to security incidents, including in-depth forensic analysis

  • Maintain and improve standard operating procedures and documentation

  • Oversee and execute security initiatives as they arise

The Skills You Bring:

  • Proven experience as a system security or information security engineer

  • Expertise in securing multi-cloud environments, including AWS and Azure

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (IAM, VPC, KMS, S3, Lambda, etc.) and Azure (PaaS, Security Center, networking)

  • Familiarity with CyberArk solutions for privileged access and password management

  • Ability to assess existing cloud environments, identify vulnerabilities, and lead remediation

  • Experience with implementing security tools within DevOps/CI-CD environments

  • Proficient in security technologies: firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, log management, vulnerability scanners, etc.

  • Skilled in designing secure networks, systems, and application architectures

  • Strong understanding of web technologies and associated security protocols

  • Experience in managing real-world security incidents and investigations

  • Familiarity with security policy creation, risk assessments, and compliance standards

  • Up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity trends, threats, and tools

  • Strong analytical thinking and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Systems, or a related field with at least 5 years of experience; OR

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in the cybersecurity domain

Preferred Certifications:

  • CISSP, GIAC, CEH, OSCP, or similar industry-recognized certifications
