Job Type: Contract (thru 4/1/26 with possibility of extension)
Job Summary:
The IT Physical Security Specialist is responsible for supporting the design, deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our client’s physical security-related business applications and systems. This role will work closely with Product Owners, Solution Leads, IT Partners, 3rd Party Vendors, and key stakeholders, particularly the physical security team, to develop solutions based on business priorities while leveraging SAFe Agile methodologies. Focus will include major projects in South America and Support of existing Global Systems.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Systems and Application Development and Deployment:
- Support the deployment, maintenance, upgrade, and troubleshooting of core physical security applications and systems.
- Assist in the development, analysis, prioritization, and organization of specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts for developers and testers to follow.
- Translate non-technical requirements into technical specifications.
- Contribute to the set-up and configuration of systems.
- Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance.
- Help define solution limitations and requirements.
- Work with Architects and Leads to ensure all systems integrate into the solution’s technology stack.
- Communicate the solution context and intent and align development stakeholders on the technical direction.
- Support enforcement of standards as part of the solution roadmap development.
- Participate in regular reviews of systems and generate reports on efficiencies and improvement areas.
Testing, Documentation and Procedures:
- Assist in defining and coordinating the execution of testing procedures and develop test cases to serve the overall quality assurance process.
- Contribute to developing and maintaining technical documentation (processes, designs, etc.).
- Support the development and implementation of maintenance procedures, monitor systems health, gather system statistics, and troubleshoot reported errors and alarms.

Required Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of experience working with information technologies and systems analysis
- Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese required
- Strong knowledge of business processes and how data and software applications support those processes
- .Net and Web Service Development experience preferred
- Experience with physical security platforms such as Genetec or other provisioning systems preferred
- Experience with DevOps processes using Azure toolset preferred
- Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions
- Strong understanding and knowledge of the principles and practices associated with packaged and/or SaaS applications
- Experience installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems
- Knowledge and experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies required and SAFe Agile preferred
- Strong proficiency in estimation and planning
