Job Title: ColdFusion Developer
Location: Remote (in the USA)
Job  Type: Contract

Employment Eligibility: Gravity cannot transfer nor sponsor a work visa for this position. Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. for any employer directly (we are not open to contract or “corp to corp” agreements).

Job Summary: The special projects team still has applications still running in ColdFusion (cannot be upgraded to .NET). So, they need support for enhancements for ColdFusion-based applications. They will need multiple developers to help perform these upgrades to this current code and manage the SQL Database Backend

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform enhancements and new development within existing ColdFusion applications.
• Reviewing old ColdFusion code and strategizing how to upgrade current code
• Maintain and optimize SQL Server databases supporting those applications.
• Work on requests for application enhancements from internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Patricia and other developers (small team, may be limited documentation available).

Desired Experience/Skills:

• 3+ years professional experience in ColdFusion web development.
• 3+ years working with SQL Server / SQL development.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work with limited documentation.
• Experience enhancing existing applications in legacy environments.
