Job Title: Project Manager – Infrastructure & Cybersecurity
Location: Charlotte, NC
Type: 6-month Contract-

About the Role:
We are seeking a high-EQ Project Manager to join our client’s team in Charlotte. This individual will manage a portfolio of infrastructure and cybersecurity projects, ensuring delivery consistency across the organization. The right candidate doesn’t need to be a deep technical expert, but must be comfortable engaging with technical teams, asking the right questions, and constructively challenging stakeholders.

This role is ideal for someone adaptable, curious, and confident — with enough technical knowledge to stay in the conversation while driving outcomes across multiple workstreams.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage 3–4 concurrent infrastructure and cybersecurity projects.
  • Partner with infrastructure leaders to align priorities and adapt to shifting project needs.
  • Facilitate discussions with technical teams, asking insightful questions and ensuring clarity in delivery.
  • Drive consistency in project delivery across the infrastructure and cybersecurity portfolio.
  • Manage projects in areas such as:
  • Cloud migrations (Azure focus, application refactoring, hosting transitions)
  • Networking and hosting changes
  • Cybersecurity initiatives
  • On-premise to cloud architecture deployments
  • Wear multiple hats as part of a lean PMO function, adapting as priorities evolve.
  • Provide maturity and stability around project change while fostering collaboration and buy-in.

    Qualifications:

    • 7+ years of project management experience (open to strong, up-and-coming candidates with less).
    • Proven experience leading infrastructure and/or cybersecurity projects.
    • Strong understanding of cloud migration (Azure preferred), networking, and hosting initiatives.
    • PMP certification strongly preferred.
    • High emotional intelligence with the ability to navigate complex discussions and positively influence outcomes.
    • Adaptable, collaborative, and eager to “figure it out” in a dynamic environment.
    • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
