Job Title: JD Edwards E1 Software Engineer II

Gravity is seeking a skilled JD Edwards E1 Software Engineer II to join our technical team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the full software development life cycle, working alongside analysts, architects, and engineers to deliver high-quality solutions for JD Edwards E1 systems.

Position Summary:
The JD Edwards E1 Software Engineer II will design, develop, and test technical solutions based on functional and technical specifications. This role requires hands-on development, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Development & Design

• Perform hands-on JD Edwards E1 development, including UDOs, reports, queries, and integrations.

• Work with analysts, architects, and project managers to develop technical design documents.

• Gather requirements, design future-state solutions, develop objects, and support testing and post-implementation activities.

• Apply advanced skills to solve complex technical problems with minimal supervision.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders.

• Communicate technical solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Promote a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Technical Skills & Tools

• JD Edwards E1 9.1 / 9.2 experience.

• Proficiency with Oracle JD Edwards E1 tools: RDA, FDA, BDA, TDA.

• Experience with JDE Orchestrator, UX One, BSFN, and BI Publisher.

• Advanced knowledge of SQL, DML, DDL, and data analysis for KPIs and reporting.

• DevOps / SDLC experience, including release management.

• Familiarity with database schema design.

• Exposure to at least one integration or orchestration tool such as Oracle Integration Cloud, IBM App Connect Pro, SAG Web Methods, or MuleSoft.

• Experience with at least two of the following technologies: REST, SOAP, OAuth 2.0, JSON, XML, XSLT, Python, Groovy, SQL, SSIS, Postman, SOAPUI, JDeveloper, SQL Studio, Visual Studio, Git (GitLab/GitHub), Oracle Cloud, Azure, AWS, Docker, EDI/X12, Cleo, SPS Commerce, Gentran.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or 4+ years of direct JD Edwards development experience with relevant certifications.

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in JD Edwards E1 development and technical support.
