We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with a strong background in data-driven initiatives to lead and deliver high-impact projects that drive measurable business value. This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end project execution, ensuring alignment between data strategy, implementation, and organizational goals. You will partner closely with business leaders, data analysts, engineers, and technology stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects that support data quality, reporting, and analytics solutions.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders, data teams, and technical teams, translating business needs into scalable data solutions.
  • Lead and manage end-to-end data and analytics projects, including data platform migrations, ETL pipeline development, and real-time analytics solutions.
  • Facilitate communication with stakeholders by providing updates on KPIs, adoption, and project milestones.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and scientists to define requirements, architecture, and success metrics with a strong emphasis on data governance best practices.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, identifying dependencies, risks, and opportunities for process automation.
  • Partner with architecture teams to align data infrastructure with business and technology needs.
  • Utilize Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) to manage deliverables and track progress.
  • Drive process improvements, optimize workflows, and enhance analytics capabilities to support better decision-making.

What We’re Looking For

  • 6+ years of project management experience, with a focus on data and analytics projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven success managing data-related initiatives.
  • Familiarity with modern data platforms and tools (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift).
  • Understanding of data governance and data quality best practices.
  • Strong ability to influence senior leadership and collaborate across teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe, or Six Sigma.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.).
  • Background in data analytics within industries such as healthcare, digital media, or technology.
  • Proficiency with SQL, Python, or other data-focused languages (a plus, but not required).

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to manage and interpret data-centric projects.
  • Analytical Strengths: Understanding of data architecture, infrastructure, and workflows.
  • Collaboration: Comfortable working closely with engineers, architects, and business stakeholders.
  • Process-Oriented: Skilled in optimizing data operations and analytics pipelines.
  • Communication: Adept at translating complex data concepts into actionable insights.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in a dynamic, evolving environment and can build structure where it doesn’t yet exist.
  • Change Management: Effective at driving adoption and communicating change across diverse stakeholder groups.

Manager’s Key Focus Areas:

  • Role centers on data project management, not traditional product management.
  • Experience leading initiatives involving data solutions, analytics, and dashboards.
  • Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in documentation, facilitation, and change management communications.
  • Flexible, proactive, and resilient approach in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
