Job Title: IT Project Manager – Cloud & Cybersecurity

About the Role
We’re seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager with hands-on experience in cloud technologies and cybersecurity to lead complex enterprise initiatives. This role will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of strategic IT projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, security standards, and technology best practices.
You’ll work cross-functionally with infrastructure, security, engineering, and compliance teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions across cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities

Plan, manage, and deliver IT projects focused on cloud infrastructure, security, and compliance.

Lead project lifecycle from initiation to closure, including scoping, scheduling, budgeting, resource planning, and reporting.

Collaborate with engineering, cloud operations, and cybersecurity teams to ensure secure architecture and delivery.

Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve issues to maintain project timelines.

Manage stakeholder communications, ensuring transparency and alignment with enterprise priorities.

Ensure compliance with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and cloud governance policies.

Track and report project KPIs and resource utilization to executive leadership.
Requirements
-
5+ years of IT project management experience in enterprise environments.

Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

Experience working on or managing cybersecurity initiatives, including risk assessments, audits, or incident response projects.

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships.

Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, MS Project).

Working knowledge of frameworks such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.

Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).

PMP, CSM, or similar certifications a plus.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud migrations, security hardening, or DevSecOps practices.

Knowledge of ITIL, CIS Controls, or other IT service frameworks.

Familiarity with SOC 2, HIPAA, or GDPR compliance.
