Job Title:  Sr Director/VP of Product Management-AI/Data Infrastructure
Location:  Seattle, WA or San Jose, CA
Job-Type:  Direct Hire
Total Compensation: 1st year between 400,000-550,000- Negotiable DOE
Referral Fee: $5,000-10,000

Gravity IT is seeking exemplary product leader who is passionate about creating value in software, working with a variety of customers to address the challenges focused on AI Data Infrastructure Delivery.  The Director, Product Management AI Data Delivery, leads the vision and strategy for the Platform Product Line to support AI Workloads, specifically emphasizing the integration of AI for Storage and Infrastructure management.

Key Focus Areas & Responsibilities

This role is a dynamic blend of technical, strategic, and business leadership, focused on leveraging the Platform for next-generation AI solutions.

  • AI/ML Strategy for Infrastructure: Drive the product vision for how the Platform (Storage/Infrastructure) is applied to novel technical challenges in AI Data Delivery and Management (e.g., AI Data Delivery, AI Enterprise Firewall). This involves deep insight into market trends and customer needs within the AI/ML pipeline.
  • Team and Product Leadership: Manage a team responsible for new product introduction, strategic partnerships, and cross-functional alignment across product management, engineering, and sales.
  • Business & Market Analysis: Conduct competitive positioning, market analysis, and 1 & 5-year financial forecasting. Formulate innovative use of Platform product functions and open-source software to solve operational problems for Client Customers, ensuring product-market fit in the AI space.
  • Strategic Communication: Independently lead large projects to develop strategic recommendations. Use advanced communication and storytelling techniques to convey insights to executive leadership and the Board.
  • Partnership & Direction: Partner with Marketing, Engineering, Services, Sales, and customers to drive product direction (Buy, Build, or Partner) for the Client’s products, with a heavy emphasis on solutions that integrate AI workloads and underlying infrastructure.

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience: 7+ years in product management in large enterprise  
  • Skills: Strong business acumen, analytical modeling (Excel), and advanced communication/storytelling.
  • Ability: Exceptional leadership, influence, and strategic thinking to execute high-impact initiatives across the organization.
