Title: SAP BTP Developer
Duration: 6+ months

Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Developer to design, build, and deploy cloud-based solutions that extend and integrate with our SAP landscape. The ideal candidate has hands-on expertise across SAP BTP services—including SAP CAP, SAP UI5/Fiori, Integration Suite, and Cloud Foundry—and can translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy custom applications and extensions on SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry or Neo).
• Build services using SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) and Node.js/Java.
• Develop SAP UI5/Fiori applications with responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
• Create integrations using SAP Integration Suite, including APIs, iFlows, and event-based architectures.
• Enhance and extend core SAP systems (S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, etc.) through BTP services.
• Implement authentication/authorization using SAP IAS/IPS, OAuth, and JWT.
• Configure and manage BTP subaccounts, destinations, environment variables, and security artifacts.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and cloud cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with functional analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Follow DevOps and CI/CD practices using Git, Transport Management Service (TMS), or similar tools.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–7+ years of SAP development experience, with 2+ years specifically on SAP BTP.
• Strong expertise in:
  • SAP CAP (Node.js or Java)
  • SAP UI5/Fiori development
  • SAP Integration Suite / CPI
  • OData, REST APIs, and microservices
  • Cloud Foundry, BTP CLI, destinations, connectivity services
• Experience integrating BTP solutions with SAP ECC 6.0, S/4HANA, SAP On-Prem, or SAP SaaS applications.
• Knowledge of SAP Event Mesh, Workflow Management, and Business Rules (nice to have).
• Strong understanding of cloud design patterns, security, and multi-tenant architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP BTP Developer or Integration Suite certifications.
• Experience with SAP HANA Cloud or SAP Datasphere.
• Familiarity with SAP Build Apps (low-code) and automation tools.
• Previous work in enterprise SAP landscapes (manufacturing, healthcare, financial services, etc.).
