IT Project Manager – 12-Month Contract

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 3 days in office)
Contract: 12 months

Overview

The candidate must be in Charlotte. We’re seeking a technology Project Manager to join on a 12-month contract, backfilling an internal role. This position supports both client-facing and corporate initiatives, working across multiple business functions and stakeholders.

Strong project delivery experience and cultural fit are key. Industry experience is beneficial but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage project plans

• Maintain RAID logs and provide regular status updates

• Manage and engage cross-functional stakeholders

• Support requirements gathering and testing

• Deliver projects with a technology and data focus

• Ensure projects are delivered on time and to agreed scope

Required Experience

• 5+ years proven experience as a technology Project Manager supporting an enterprise

• Strong understanding of core PM practices (planning, RAID, reporting)

• Hands-on delivery experience (not coordination-only). Ability to gather requirements and assist QA with testing

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to work effectively across time zones
