Job Title: Software Engineer (Azure/.NET/Event-Driven APIs)

Job Type: Contract

Location: Remote (Seeking candidates based in LATAM) 

Overview: Our client is seeking a Software Engineer/.NET Developer to join their team and support the development of API-driven applications in an Azure environment. As a member of a small development team, you will help design, build, and manage our application ecosystem. You will work across many applications throughout the entire organization and have a direct impact on everyday business. This is a full-time, salary exempt position with a family-focused company that believes in flexible schedules, work from home opportunities, and generous benefits.

As a key member of the development team, you will work on .NET/C# application development, Event driven API development, and cloud-based solutions to support business operations. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Azure-based application hosting and API integrations within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain .NET/C# applications with a focus on API development and integrations.
• Build, deploy, and manage Azure-hosted applications, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Design and implement event-driven APIs to facilitate real-time data processing and system interactions.
• Collaborate with senior developers to modernize and enhance existing applications.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization efforts.
• Work in an Agile environment, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• 5+ years of overall experience in software development.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with .NET/C# development.
• 3+ years of experience with event-driven API development.
• 3+ years of experience with Azure, including building and hosting API applications.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and cloud-based architectures.
• Experience with database management, preferably Azure SQL.
• Solid problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Exposure to React Native or other front-end technologies.
• Familiarity with serverless computing and microservices architecture.
