Job Title

SAP S/4HANA P2P Functional Analyst / Consultant

Role Overview

This role supports SAP S/4HANA deployment within the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) workstream. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, and technical integration partners to ensure accurate configuration, stable integrations, and seamless business operations.

Business Impact

This position is critical to the successful integration into the SAP S/4HANA ecosystem. The role supports more than 20 inbound and outbound interfaces and plays a key part in ensuring end-to-end P2P process stability across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

P2P Functional Analysis & Configuration (50%)

• Lead requirements gathering and solution design for SAP S/4HANA P2P processes
• Perform hands-on configuration across SAP MM / P2P
• Ensure seamless integration between MM and FI, including account determination and valuation logic
• Collaborate with business users to translate requirements into functional solutions

Integration Support & Interface Management (40%)

• Support and troubleshoot 20+ inbound and outbound integrations
• Work closely with technical teams on integrations using SAP BTP, REST APIs, and AWS S3
• Analyze and resolve interface errors impacting P2P business processes
• Ensure data accuracy and operational stability across integrated systems

Testing, Documentation & Agile Participation (10%)

• Support test strategy development and execution (unit, integration, UAT)
• Create and maintain functional specifications and process documentation
• Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

Required Technical Skills & Qualifications

Core Skills

• SAP S/4HANA P2P / MM functional configuration
• Strong understanding of MM–FI integration, including:
  • Account determination
  • Transaction keys
  • Valuation areas
  • G/L account groupings
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting interfaces
• Integration technologies: SAP BTP, REST APIs, AWS S3

Experience Requirements

• 3+ years of SAP P2P implementation experience (S/4HANA preferred)
• Strong hands-on SAP configuration experience
• Experience designing or supporting system integrations
• Familiarity with SAFe Agile methodology
