Title: Data Engineer (Contract)

Location: Hybrid 3 days onsite
Duration: 4–6 months (possible extension)
Experience: 5–10 years

We’re seeking a Senior Data Engineer to support and optimize a data platform built on Azure, Databricks, and Snowflake. This is a hands-on contract role with a strong consultative component.

What You’ll Do

• Build and optimize pipelines using SQL and PySpark

• Stabilize bronze (raw) data and improve silver/gold layers

• Reduce overnight batch processing time

• Consult on pipeline design and performance improvements

• Split time ~50% coding / ~50% collaboration & design

Tech Stack

• Azure Data Factory (SAP HANA extracts)

• Databricks (PySpark, SQL)

• Snowflake

• Power BI

What We’re Looking For

• Strong Databricks experience (required)

• Snowflake background

• SAP ECC / SAP HANA data experience preferred

• Comfortable in a hybrid environment

• Open to local, domestic remote, or nearshore candidates (no offshore)
