Role:
The Project Manager is a critical member of the Product Development PMO, responsible for leading high-priority, multi-departmental strategic initiatives. This role oversees day-to-day project execution while maintaining a program-level view of operations.

The Project Manager partners with internal stakeholders and external contractors to gather, analyze, and report data that drives informed decision-making. This individual proactively plans, coordinates, and drives strategic initiatives to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Projects are typically high-visibility and require continuous communication with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans outlining scope, milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Lead cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives and execution strategy.
  • Drive project execution to ensure delivery within established timelines and budgets (typically $1M+).
  • Create and present regular status reports including schedule, budget, risk, and overall health.
  • Lead weekly executive-level presentations and reporting.
  • Monitor and update project schedules, forecasts, and documentation in project management systems.
  • Facilitate communication plans across teams and stakeholders.
  • Identify risks and spearhead mitigation strategies.
  • Support Program Managers by executing against program priorities and driving independent follow-up actions.
  • Lead lessons learned sessions and implement process improvements.
  • Champion adherence to established PMO processes and governance standards.
  • Resolve escalated project issues across teams.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation including status updates, forecasts, KPIs, and financial tracking.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role.
  • Experience managing projects with budgets exceeding $1M.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) required.
  • Proven ability to lead small teams and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations.
  • Ability to manage clients, partners, and senior stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical and financial data.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, matrixed environments.
  • Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio.
  • Strong financial acumen and spreadsheet modeling skills.

Preferred Experience:

  • PMP Certification.
  • Experience in Product Development or Industrial Engineering environments.
  • Change Management experience in a global organization.
  • Scheduling expertise.
  • Exposure to Data Visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with Smartsheet or similar project tracking platforms.
