Job Title: Invoice Coding Analyst
Type: Contract (6 months)
Location: Miami, FL (5 days on-site)
Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Invoice Coding Analyst to support high-volume invoice processing, billing analysis, and cost allocation for telecom and related services. This role will be responsible for reviewing and validating large volumes of vendor invoices, performing billing analysis, and supporting financial reporting activities. The ideal candidate will have prior telecom billing experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work with large datasets to ensure billing accuracy and proper cost allocation.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze approximately 600–700 telecom and service-related invoices per month to ensure billing accuracy and proper authorization.
• Perform telecom billing analysis, identifying discrepancies and working with vendors to resolve billing issues when necessary.
• Process and validate invoice data while maintaining accurate records within financial systems such as JDE E1 and Appia.
• Support monthly financial processes including allocations across telecom and other service categories.
• Work with large data files and datasets to perform billing analysis, reporting, and cost tracking.
• Assist the accounting team with accrual support and may help with journal entries over time.
• Leverage modern tools, including AI-enabled solutions where appropriate, to improve efficiency and data analysis.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, and operational teams to ensure accurate billing and cost management.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in telecom billing, billing analysis, or telecom financial operations.
• Experience reviewing high volumes of invoices and working with large datasets.
• Strong Excel skills, including functions such as VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
• Familiarity with financial systems such as JDE E1, Appia, or similar ERP platforms is a plus.
• Accounting knowledge or experience supporting accounting functions is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in using AI or automation tools to improve workflows and efficiency.
