 Title: Matillion ETL Developer
Location: REMOTE (LATAM)

Overview
We are seeking a Matillion ETL Developer with strong hands-on experience in Matillion, Snowflake, and SQL to support enterprise data integration and transformation initiatives. This person will be responsible for building, modifying, and maintaining ETL pipelines, validating and analyzing data within Snowflake, and supporting data movement across cloud-based environments. The ideal candidate will also have exposure to AWS services and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
This role is best suited for someone who can operate as a true engineer rather than an analyst — someone who can step in quickly, understand requirements, and contribute with minimal ramp-up time.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, modify, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Matillion
• Work within Snowflake to validate, transform, and analyze data
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored logic, and data workflows
• Support data ingestion, transformation, and movement across cloud-based platforms
• Work with files and source data from cloud storage environments such as Amazon S3
• Partner with engineering teams, technical leads, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable solutions
• Participate in team meetings, scrum ceremonies, and technical discussions around requirements and delivery
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures, data quality issues, and integration challenges
• Ensure data processes are reliable, efficient, and aligned with project timelines
• Support ongoing enterprise initiatives and backfill needs tied to large-scale project work

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of overall experience in data engineering, data integration, or related data-focused roles
• 2–3+ years of hands-on experience with Matillion
• 2–3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake
• Strong experience with SQL for data extraction, transformation, validation, and analysis
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT processes in modern cloud data environments
• Ability to work independently and contribute in a highly hands-on capacity
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS, including services such as:
  • S3
  • Lambda
  • Other cloud-native data or integration services
• Experience with additional data tools such as Informatica, SSIS, or similar ETL platforms
• Understanding of data validation, data integration, and data pipeline troubleshooting
• Experience working in healthcare data environments or with healthcare-related datasets
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices in cloud ecosystems
