Job Title: Senior Network Engineer
Location: Salt Lake City, Utah 
Job-Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $120,000 – $150,000+ depending on experience

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support and help modernize a complex enterprise network environment. This is a senior-level role for an engineer with deep expertise in routing, switching, data center networking, and enterprise architecture. The ideal candidate will bring a hands-on technical background along with a modernization mindset focused on automation, infrastructure improvement, and scalable network design.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design, support, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure
• Provide senior-level support for routing, switching, and core network operations
• Support environments primarily built on Cisco and Meraki technologies
• Work within modern data center network topologies, including leaf-based environments
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot routing protocols such as BGP and EIGRP
• Contribute to network architecture and future-state infrastructure planning
• Help drive automation and infrastructure modernization initiatives
• Support complex troubleshooting and high-priority escalations
• Serve as a senior technical resource for the network team
• Partner with leadership on strategic network improvements and operational reliability

Required Experience & Skills:

• Strong experience as a Senior Network Engineer in enterprise environments
• Deep expertise with Cisco networking technologies
• Experience with Meraki environments
• Strong routing and switching background
• Experience with data center networking
• Experience with leaf-based topologies
• Strong working knowledge of BGP and EIGRP
• Architecture-oriented mindset with strong hands-on execution ability
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and ownership skills

Nice to Have Experience:

• Experience with network automation
• Experience with infrastructure as code
• Experience supporting modernization or transformation initiatives
• Experience in highly available enterprise environments
• Experience in financial services or other regulated environments
• Experience mentoring junior engineers or serving as a senior escalation point
