Job Title: Customer Support Technician
Job Type: Contract
Job Location: Ocoee, FL
We are seeking an Intermediate Customer Support Technician to provide hands-on and remote technical support in a fast-paced enterprise environment. This role is responsible for supporting end users across a wide range of hardware, software, mobile, and conferencing technologies while delivering excellent customer service and timely issue resolution.
The ideal candidate will be technically strong, customer-focused, and comfortable working onsite in a dynamic support setting. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, user interaction, and helping maintain a reliable, efficient IT environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite and remote technical support for end users across the organization
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and support desktops, laptops, software, mobile devices, printers, and scanners
- Monitor and maintain systems using enterprise support tools
- Diagnose hardware, software, and basic network-related issues and determine appropriate resolution steps
- Document issues, resolutions, inventory, and asset tracking details accurately
- Support audiovisual setups and video conferencing technology for meetings and events
- Assist with virtual meeting platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and GoTo
- Help support conference room technology and audiovisual equipment
- Collaborate with other IT team members on projects, rollouts, and technical initiatives
- Recommend ideas and improvements to increase support efficiency and service quality
- Travel to remote locations as needed to provide technical support
- Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience providing technical support in an enterprise environment preferred
- Strong experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software
- Familiarity with Active Directory and endpoint management tools such as MECM
- Proficiency with Office 365, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams
- Strong working knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11
- Ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to provide clear, professional, and customer-focused support
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certifications or relevant technical education
- Experience supporting virtual meeting platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and GoTo
- Familiarity with audiovisual equipment, including conference room and Microsoft Teams Rooms technologies
- Experience supporting mobile devices, printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices
