Job Title: MS .NET Software Developer
Location: Charlotte, NC (University Area) — Hybrid
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day shift
Type: Contract | Pay: $60/hr (W2) | Openings: 2
 
Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced, mission-driven Microsoft .NET Software Developer to join a growing team. This role will build and support internal, customer-facing, and vendor-facing web applications and APIs on the Microsoft .NET + Azure stack.
You’ll work with ASP.NET MVC, REST APIs, C#, JavaScript libraries, and SQL Server, contributing to the evolution and delivery of high-impact business solutions in an Agile environment. This is a high-visibility role in a small-company / growth-stage setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop best-in-class web applications and services
• Write high-quality, well-designed, efficient, testable code aligned to industry standards
• Document development work clearly to support long-term maintainability
• Own full SDLC execution: develop, test, document, deploy, and maintain solutions
• Design new systems, features, and tools
• Troubleshoot complex issues and identify performance/technical improvements
• Review and test code to ensure standards are met
• Leverage existing and emerging technologies, including Microsoft Azure cloud services

 
Build:

• Full-stack web applications
• REST interfaces / APIs
• Command-line interfaces
• Distributed integrations

 
Requirements

• 5+ years professional development experience with: .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, MVC
• Experience building object-oriented web applications (preferably .NET Core / .NET 6)
• Experience building/consuming RESTful APIs
• Strong SQL skills; hands-on SQL Server experience
• Experience in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem
• Source control experience (e.g., Azure DevOps / ADO)
• Experience working on an Agile development team
• Experience translating business needs into technical solutions/specs/requirements
• Comfortable in a small company / growth-stage environment

 
Nice-to-have

• Front-end experience with jQuery, Angular, React, or Vue
• Bachelor’s degree
