Project Manager – Cybersecurity

Location: Miami, FL
Job Type: Contract
Schedule: Hybrid (Mon–Thurs onsite / Friday remote)

Overview

Our client is seeking a Project Manager to lead large-scale cybersecurity and enterprise technology initiatives within a global enterprise environment.

This role will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of complex security programs across infrastructure, operations, compliance, and enterprise technology teams. The ideal candidate brings a strong mix of program delivery, stakeholder management, governance, budgeting, and cybersecurity awareness.

This person will operate as the central point of coordination across technical teams, business stakeholders, leadership, and external vendors to ensure programs are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to business priorities.

Responsibilities

Program & Project Delivery

• Lead delivery of large, cross-functional cybersecurity and enterprise technology programs
• Manage planning, prioritization, sequencing, and execution across multiple workstreams
• Track risks, dependencies, scope, timelines, and milestones across programs
• Facilitate governance meetings, leadership updates, and stakeholder communication

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Partner with Infrastructure, Operations, Finance, Security, Supply Chain, and vendor teams
• Ensure alignment between business goals, security requirements, and delivery timelines
• Escalate risks, trade-offs, and resource constraints appropriately

Budget & Resource Management

• Manage program budgets, forecasting, and financial tracking
• Coordinate staffing and resource planning across internal teams and vendors
• Identify delivery gaps and recommend solutions to maintain program momentum

Risk & Compliance

• Support initiatives aligned to security and compliance frameworks such as:
  • NIST
  • PCI DSS
  • ISO 27001
• Ensure risks, issues, and changes are documented and actively managed

Tools & Governance

• Utilize PPM tools such as Jira and Workfront to manage delivery activities
• Drive structured governance and delivery discipline across all initiatives

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT Project / Program Management experience
• 3+ years supporting cybersecurity or information security initiatives
• Experience managing enterprise-level, cross-functional programs
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and resource planning
• Experience with Jira, Workfront, or similar PPM tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in highly regulated enterprise environments
• PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or similar certifications
• Familiarity with enterprise infrastructure, networks, and platforms
• Experience supporting compliance/security frameworks (NIST, PCI DSS, ISO)
