Project Coordinator
Job Type: Contract / Contract to hire
Job Location: Remote
Position Overview
Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Coordinator to support the successful execution of multiple projects from kickoff through completion. This individual will work closely with Project Managers, field teams, vendors, and clients to ensure timelines, documentation, communication, and project deliverables remain on track.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and enjoys managing details while keeping projects moving forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers with day-to-day coordination of active projects
- Maintain project schedules, timelines, and status updates
- Coordinate communication between internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and action items
- Prepare and manage project documentation including contracts, purchase orders, RFIs, change orders, and closeout packages
- Assist with scheduling meetings, site visits, and project logistics
- Monitor project budgets, invoices, and expense tracking
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting across multiple concurrent projects
- Maintain organized project files and documentation systems
- Identify potential project delays or issues and escalate appropriately
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination, project administration, operations support, or a related role
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Experience with project management software such as Procore, Smartsheet, MS Project, Monday.com, or similar platforms is preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting construction, facilities, telecom, engineering, or field-service projects is a plus

- Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
- Strong customer service and relationship management mindset
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment
- Experience coordinating field operations or vendor scheduling preferred
