Job Title:  Data Analytics Engineer
Location: Remote
Job-Type:  Full-Time
Salary Range:  $100K – $120K
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to serve as the bridge between data engineering and business intelligence, transforming complex data into meaningful insights that drive business decisions. This role will be embedded with the Business Intelligence team while operating within the IT organization, partnering closely with data engineers, business stakeholders, and BI analysts to design data models, optimize data structures, and deliver scalable analytics solutions.
The ideal candidate combines strong SQL and Python skills with a business-oriented mindset, leveraging data to develop hypotheses, uncover trends, and create actionable intelligence rather than simply producing reports.
Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with Business Intelligence and business stakeholders to understand analytical needs and translate them into scalable data solutions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain analytical data models built on top of enterprise data pipelines.
  • Transform complex datasets into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, data transformations, and Python-based analytics solutions.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to enhance data structures and improve data accessibility.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across reporting and analytics environments.
  • Collaborate with BI Team as they build dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities through data analysis and modeling.
  • Document data definitions, business logic, and analytical processes.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics, analytics engineering, business intelligence, or related disciplines.
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large relational datasets.
  • Strong Python development and data analysis experience.
  • Experience designing and maintaining analytical data models and schemas.
  • Proficiency with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and influence stakeholders through data-driven recommendations.

Nice to Have Experience:
 

  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience with Snowflake or cloud-based data platforms.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including dimensional and normalized modeling.
  • Exposure to large-scale data pipelines and modern analytics architectures.
