Title: Global Finance Solutions Owner
Location: West Palm Beach, USA (Other Locations Available)
Type: Full Time
Expectation: 3 days onsite per week
Summary
Our client is seeking an SAP Finance & SAC Planning Lead to oversee and drive enterprise-wide SAP Finance initiatives with a primary focus on SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning and FP&A transformation efforts. This individual will serve as the key liaison between finance, business stakeholders, and technical teams while leading SAP Finance support, enhancements, strategic projects, and future-state roadmap planning. The role requires a strong blend of functional SAP Finance expertise, project leadership, and business partnership to ensure technology solutions align with operational and financial objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead SAP Finance support operations, including enhancements, issue resolution, release coordination, and ticket management across SAP FICO processes such as General Ledger, Controlling, and Product Costing.
- Serve as the primary business partner between finance leadership, business users, consulting teams, and technical resources to gather requirements, prioritize initiatives, and ensure successful project execution.
- Lead and coordinate SAP Finance transformation initiatives with a primary focus on SAC Planning and FP&A projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and financial objectives.
- Review and validate business requirements, proposed solutions, project scopes, and enhancement requests to ensure quality, scalability, and long-term value.
- Manage relationships with external consulting partners and implementation teams while overseeing project deliverables and execution.
- Drive strategic planning efforts by helping define and maintain the SAP Finance roadmap, evaluating future solutions, and identifying opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to support ongoing system improvements and enterprise initiatives.
- Ensure SAP Finance solutions effectively support budgeting, forecasting, planning, reporting, and financial management processes.
Requirements
- Strong functional expertise within SAP Finance, including FICO modules such as General Ledger, Controlling, and Product Costing.
- Experience supporting and leading SAP Finance enhancements, production support activities, releases, and issue resolution.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), particularly within Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, or FP&A initiatives.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale SAP Finance projects and work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Experience gathering business requirements, validating solutions, managing priorities, and translating business needs into system capabilities.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence across multiple levels of the organization.
- Experience working with third-party consulting and implementation partners.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while balancing strategic projects and day-to-day support responsibilities.
