Power BI Analyst

Position Summary

We are seeking a Power BI Analyst to support our client headquartered in Cincinnati, OH. The Analyst will develop, maintain, and enhance business intelligence solutions that support operational and strategic decision-making across the organization. This role will work closely with business leaders and end users to transform data into meaningful dashboards, reports, and insights.

The ideal candidate combines strong Power BI expertise with a solid understanding of data modeling, reporting, and business processes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into actionable analytics solutions.
  • Create and maintain data models, measures, and KPIs using Power BI and DAX.
  • Connect and integrate data from ERP systems, SQL databases, spreadsheets, and other business applications.
  • Monitor dashboard performance, data accuracy, and report usability.
  • Troubleshoot reporting issues and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Develop automated reporting solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual reporting efforts.
  • Document reporting processes, data sources, and dashboard functionality.
  • Train end users and provide ongoing support for Power BI reporting tools.
  • Assist with data governance, data quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Strong experience with Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
  • Experience writing SQL queries and working with relational databases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred

  • Experience working with ERP systems and operational business data.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or production environments.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, or other cloud-based analytics platforms.
