Job Title: Sr Data Governance Systems Administrator
Location: Remote/ Utah
Job-Type:  6- month Contract to hire
Salary Range: $60 per hour

Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a Senior Data Governance System Administrator with strong Collibra experience to support and enhance the organization’s data governance program. This role partners with stakeholders to drive adoption of Collibra and other governance tools through training, support, and best practices while ensuring system security, performance, and optimization. The position also leads tool integrations, onboarding of new data assets, and expansion of platform capabilities to support enterprise data governance initiatives. Success in this role is measured by increased user adoption, improved data literacy, and maximizing the value and ROI of governance tools across the organization

Duties & Responsibilities:
This individual Support data governance initiatives to ensure effective use of governance tools. Develop and deliver training on tool usage, configuration, and best practices. Monitor and report on tool adoption metrics and ROI and drive continuous improvement. Maintain tool performance, including configuration, updates, security, and role management. Lead user support efforts across key use cases (e.g., lineage, data quality, profiling, impact analysis). Partner with Data Governance Analysts to align tools with business needs and use cases. Promote data privacy, protection, and compliance through effective tool utilization

Required Experience & Skills:

• 7 years Data Governance System Administration
• 4 years of experience in data management, including data governance, BI, data warehousing.
• Experience administering data management tools such as Collibra.
• Experience with data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake, Teradata, or Oracle Exadata
• Familiarity with BI and analytics tools (Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, Qlik Sense)
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools

Nice to have

• Strong SQL skills; scripting or programming experience preferred
