Job Title:  Sr. C# / .NET MAUI Software Engineer
Location: Remote
Job-Type:  Contract
Salary Range:  $75 – $100/hr.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior C# / .NET MAUI Software Engineer for an urgent contract engagement supporting a critical mobile application initiative. This consultant must be able to step in immediately and make an impact with minimal ramp-up.
The work is focused on enhancing a customer-facing mobile application through complex backend orchestration, SDK integrations, and feature implementation. While the application is built on .NET MAUI, this is not a UI-heavy role. Instead, you’ll be responsible for integrating services, coordinating application workflows, and collaborating with multiple engineering teams to deliver solutions to combat fraud activity on an aggressive timeline.
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance features within a .NET MAUI mobile application.
• Build and maintain backend orchestration supporting mobile application functionality.
• Integrate third-party SDKs and platform services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver production-ready solutions.
• Quickly understand the role of the mobile application within the broader enterprise architecture.
• Deliver high-quality code with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Extensive hands-on experience developing applications with C# and .NET MAUI.
• Strong background in backend application development and service orchestration.
• Experience integrating third-party SDKs and external services.
• Ability to quickly troubleshoot, design, and implement solutions in an existing codebase.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across distributed teams.
• Comfortable working independently and delivering results with little ramp-up time.

Nice to Have Experience:
 

• Experience with Xamarin migrations or legacy MAUI applications.
• Exposure to React Native environments.
• Experience supporting customer-facing mobile applications.
• Availability to work U.S. business hours (Mountain/Central time zone preferred).

Employment Eligibility: Gravity cannot transfer nor sponsor a work visa for this position. Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. for any employer directly (we are not open to contract or “corp to corp” agreements).
