Job Title: SCCM / Endpoint Management Team Lead (SCCM Lead)
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL (Hybrid – onsite Monday thru Thursday)
Job-Type: Contract

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SCCM / Endpoint Management Team Lead to drive and modernize our endpoint management and vulnerability remediation program. This role requires a strong technical leader with deep expertise in Microsoft SCCM (Configuration Manager), Intune, vulnerability management, application packaging, endpoint remediation, inventory management, and reporting. The ideal candidate will not only maintain the existing SCCM environment but will also play a key role in transforming the organization’s endpoint management strategy from a traditional on-premises model to a modern, cloud-enabled endpoint management posture leveraging Microsoft Intune and modern management capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead vulnerability management activities across enterprise endpoints
  • Analyze and remediate vulnerabilities identified through Qualys and other security tools
  • Conduct deep-dive investigations into operating systems, applications, configurations, and endpoint behaviors to identify root causes of vulnerabilities
  • Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, and Application teams to develop remediation strategies
  • Perform application analysis, testing, packaging, deployment, and remediation activities
  • Validate remediation effectiveness through vulnerability rescans and reporting
  • Troubleshoot complex workstation and application-layer issues impacting security posture
  • Drive continuous reduction of endpoint vulnerability exposure and compliance gaps
  • Manage endpoint inventory utilizing SCCM, Intune, and enterprise asset management tools
  • Cross-reference hardware/software inventories against vulnerability findings to ensure accurate remediation targeting
  • Monitor patch compliance and ensure timely deployment of security updates
  • Validate device health, software versions, application deployment status, and endpoint compliance
  • Develop processes for lifecycle management of enterprise devices and software assets
  • Partner with infrastructure and desktop engineering teams to maintain accurate configuration and inventory data
  • Develop and maintain operational dashboards and executive-level reporting
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for SCCM and vulnerability management reporting
  • Produce regular reports on vulnerability remediation progress, patch compliance, endpoint health, software inventory, and device compliance metrics
  • Present findings and recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders
  • Establish KPI and SLA reporting for endpoint management and security operations
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to endpoint management and desktop engineering teams
  • Establish best practices for endpoint administration, patching, software deployment, and vulnerability management
  • Lead modernization initiatives supporting the transition from legacy endpoint management processes to cloud-based and co-managed environments
  • Act as the subject matter expert for SCCM, Intune, and endpoint security technologies
  • Partner with Security, Infrastructure, Compliance, and Operations teams to drive strategic initiatives

Requirements:

  • 5–10 years of experience with SCCM / Microsoft Configuration Manager
  • 3–5 years of experience with Microsoft Intune
  • 3–5 years of experience with SQL queries and reporting
  • 3–5 years of experience with Qualys vulnerability management
  • Experience leading endpoint management, vulnerability remediation, and workstation engineering initiatives
  • Expertise in endpoint management including Microsoft SCCM / Configuration Manager, Microsoft Intune, co-management, Windows 10/11 administration, and endpoint configuration & compliance
  • Expertise in vulnerability management including Qualys, vulnerability assessment & remediation, security patching, OS and application hardening, and endpoint risk analysis
  • Experience with software deployment and packaging including application packaging, software distribution, deployment troubleshooting, and application lifecycle management
  • Reporting and analytics experience including SCCM reporting and SQL queries
  • Experience with modern endpoint management and cloud migration initiatives (preferred)
  • Experience in co-managed SCCM/Intune environments (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (preferred)
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and endpoint compliance standards (preferred)
  • Experience leading endpoint transformation or modernization programs (preferred)
