Title: SAP CPI Consultant – SuccessFactors Integration
Location: LATAM or India (Remote Opportunity)
Type: 6-12 Month Contract

Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior SAP CPI Consultant with extensive experience designing, developing, deploying, and supporting enterprise integrations using SAP Integration Suite, formerly known as SAP Cloud Platform Integration.
The consultant will focus heavily on integrations involving SAP SuccessFactors, SAP ECC or S/4HANA, SAP HCM, payroll platforms, benefits providers, identity-management solutions, and other third-party cloud applications. This individual will operate within a large, globally distributed organization supporting complex employee and enterprise data flows.
Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, test, deploy, monitor, and support integration flows using SAP Integration Suite and CPI.
  • Build integrations between SAP SuccessFactors and:
    • SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA
    • SAP HCM
    • Payroll systems
    • Benefits providers
    • Identity-management platforms
    • Time and attendance systems
    • Recruiting, onboarding, and learning applications
    • Other third-party cloud and on-premises platforms
  • Support integrations involving SuccessFactors Employee Central and related modules.
  • Develop and maintain interfaces using:
    • REST APIs
    • SOAP web services
    • OData services
    • SFTP and file-based integrations
    • IDocs
    • XML and JSON
    • SuccessFactors APIs and Compound Employee API
  • Configure integration-flow components, including routing, mapping, transformation, validation, exception handling, logging, and security.
  • Develop message mappings, XSLT transformations, Groovy scripts, and custom integration logic.
  • Configure and manage certificates, authentication methods, encryption, credentials, and secure connectivity.
  • Monitor production integrations and troubleshoot failed messages, data discrepancies, connectivity issues, and performance problems.
  • Work with HR, payroll, security, application, infrastructure, and external vendor teams to define integration requirements.
  • Prepare technical designs, interface specifications, mapping documents, test scripts, deployment plans, and support documentation.
  • Lead or support unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, and post-production stabilization.
  • Recommend integration architecture, reusable components, development standards, monitoring practices, and operational improvements.
  • Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to internal development and support teams.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of SAP integration experience.
  • 4+ years of hands-on SAP CPI or SAP Integration Suite development experience.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating SAP SuccessFactors with SAP and non-SAP applications.
  • Strong knowledge of SuccessFactors Employee Central data structures, APIs, and integration patterns.
  • Experience with REST, SOAP, OData, SFTP, IDocs, XML, JSON, and web-service technologies.
  • Hands-on experience developing message mappings, Groovy scripts, XSLT transformations, and exception-handling frameworks.
  • Experience with certificate management, OAuth, basic authentication, SAML, encryption, and secure integration practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting experience involving integration logs, message monitoring, payload analysis, and data reconciliation.
  • Experience producing technical documentation and coordinating with functional and business teams.
