Job Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Weston, FL (hybrid 2 days)
3-month Contract

JOB DESCRIPTION:  
We are seeking a temporary contractor to support the Revenue Accounting team with revenue recognition analysis, SOX compliance, and process improvement initiatives. This individual will assist with documenting and evaluating revenue-related controls, supporting audit and compliance activities, and contributing to special projects involving ASC 606 revenue recognition. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of revenue accounting principles, internal controls, and financial reporting processes.

• Assist with SOX compliance initiatives, including process documentation and control evidence gathering.

• Assist with technical accounting research and documentation related to ASC 606 revenue recognition.

• Analyze revenue-related data and support special projects related to system, process, and business changes.

• Assist with ad hoc projects and process improvement efforts.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

• 3+ years of accounting or audit experience.

• Strong understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance.

• Working knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition guidance.

• Experience documenting business processes, controls, and accounting conclusions.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
