Job Title: .NET Developer
Location: Hybrid onsite in Miami, FL
Job Type: 6-month Contract-to-Hire
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in .NET development, proficiency in C#, and a solid understanding of various technologies including JSON, HTML, and databases such as PL-SQL, MySQL, or Oracle. As a .NET Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions.
This person will be working on the revenue planning and deployment team operating within the finance department. The team needs a back-end heavy developer that will be working on new development as well as maintenance and bug fixes. Essentially, the new team member will be deploying bots to scrape competitor websites of their pricing data in order to compare opposing pricing on the market. They will be going into JSON files from differing web pages, picking up and extracting pricing fields, to then put them into Oracle database. Most of this job will entail pulling values from JSON files and then storing it so a separate team within the corporate function can analyze the trends. These analyses then will get sent to executives for review. While this person is serving in the Finance department, they will be interacting with data, IT, and analytics on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions using .NET framework
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends
- 50% New development, Initiating bots to essentially scrape data off competitor websites
- 50% bug fixes and maintenance on existing applications
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in .NET development
- 4+ years of experience in C# programming
- 1+ years of experience with JSON
- 1+ years of experience with HTML
- Proficiency in at least one of the following databases:
- PL-SQL (1+ years of experience)
- MySQL (1+ years of experience)
- Oracle (1+ years of experience)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
