Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting & Funnel Building: Aggressively seek out and develop new business opportunities through cold calls, networking, referrals, and in-person visits.
  • Present and demonstrate the features and benefits of products to prospective customers.
  • Sales Execution: Sell new and used forklifts, rental & leasing solutions, and forklift accessories by understanding customer needs and offering tailored solutions based on those needs.
  • Use social media platforms, business directories, leads from existing clients, and industry events to find new business opportunities.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and penetrate new industries within your assigned territory.
  • Negotiate & Close deals.  Own the sales process from first contact to signed deal.
  • Offer detailed product information and technical support to help clients make informed decisions.
  • Draft and submit quotations, sales contracts, RTOs and leasing agreements.
  • Follow-Up & Retention: Maintain contact with existing customers to ensure satisfaction, provide upsell solutions, and drive new business into your assigned territory.
  • Achieve or exceed sales KPIs as set by management.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor products, and market opportunities.
  • Represent company at Trade Association meetings as needed.
  • Reporting & CRM Management: Track and manage leads, opportunities, and sales activities within the company CRM system.
  • Authority to stop production in the event due to poor quality, unsafe parts or conditions appear.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor and/or Manager, which may be outside the scope of responsibilities noted above.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment rental, sales, or a related industry. Forklift or material handling experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of equipment, including technical specifications and operational requirements.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing inventory.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
