HR Manager responsibilities and duties

  • Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy instructed by Top Management
  • Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
  • Managing the recruitment and selection process
  • Establish employee training schedule.
  • Manage all necessary arrangements for payroll processing; reviewing and completing payroll process, by confirming and verifying accuracy of payroll data such as paid time off, insurance and 401(k) deduction and time card information.
  • Review, modify, and implement employee handbook, if necessary, and various human resources policies, ensuring legal compliance of company policies and procedures.
  • Lead timely and effective implementation of employee performance management process including job descriptions, annual goals, performance evaluation by preparing schedule, following up the progress, compiling ratings, and assisting managers in preparation of performance review and communicating performance deficiencies to employees
  • Oversee employee communications, troubleshoot problems in a timely manner 
  • Handle conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
  • Coordinate employee separation or termination process, consulting with Management for risk analysis, 

Requirements and skills
 

  • Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • At least 3 years of HR experience. (Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive, manufacturing experience is preferred. )
  • Advanced understanding of labor laws, rules and regulations.
  • People oriented and results driven
  • Excellent communication skill is required.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
