Job Title: Senior .NET Developer
Location: Tallahassee, FL (on-Site)
Job Type: 12-Month Contract

Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior .NET Developer to lead the design, development, and integration of robust API-driven web and mobile interfaces. The ideal candidate will guide technical architecture, oversee development efforts, and ensure best practices are followed across the solution lifecycle. This role also supports business analysis efforts, technical requirement gathering, and documentation while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, business analysts, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Architecture & Leadership:

• Define and oversee the system’s overall technical vision and implementation strategy.
• Lead architecture reviews and ensure alignment with solution design and business goals.
• Coordinate the efforts of other architects and developers, ensuring consistent design standards and technical alignment.
• Design and deliver applications following Salesforce design standards and industry best practices.
• Support business process analysis, client workshops, and requirement-gathering activities alongside Business Analysts.
• Review technical and project deliverables for quality, completeness, and adherence to standards.

Development & Integration:

• Develop responsive web and mobile user interfaces using modern API-driven frameworks.
• Ensure seamless integration between front-end applications and backend systems.
• Create and manage enterprise-level web applications using Microsoft ASP.NET technologies.
• Build and maintain applications using C#.NET, MVC, ASP.NET 4.x, OOP principles, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and relevant frameworks.
• Utilize Azure services and .NET Core for scalable, cloud-based application development.
• Create and manage databases, stored procedures, and large data loads using Microsoft SQL Server.
• Implement batch processing and work with data integration tools such as SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Develop reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI and Reporting Services.

Quality Assurance & Documentation:

• Participate in testing of custom applications, dashboards, and large datasets.
• Write and maintain clear technical documentation including specifications, traceability matrices, design documentation, and testing artifacts.
• Collaborate with QA teams and business analysts to ensure applications meet functional and performance requirements.
• Follow industry best practices for software testing, version control, and deployment strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in developing Microsoft ASP.NET web applications.
• Strong knowledge and experience in C#.NET, MVC, ASP.NET 4.x, OOP, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and front-end frameworks.
• Proficiency in developing responsive web and mobile interfaces via APIs.
• Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, including stored procedures and data integration.
• Familiarity with .NET Core and Azure cloud services.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI and SSIS.
• Strong experience gathering and documenting both business and technical requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft M365 Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical requirements into actionable tasks.
• Demonstrated experience working on large-scale enterprise development projects.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with Salesforce-based application frameworks.
• Ability to lead and mentor development teams.
• Experience in testing strategies for custom applications and large data systems.
