Job Title: Director Enterprise Applications
Location: Tampa, FL

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversees implementation, ongoing use, and maintenance of all business (non-clinical) applications including financial & operational and research systems
• Leads and manages process development and operational decisions related to all business and research applications
• Reviews and approves departmental budget(s); assists with contract negotiations with external vendors
• Maintains expertise in related information technologies and techniques Evaluates overall business needs, assesses existing and emerging application technologies for potential solutions and formulates recommendations to present to leadership
• Promotes and encourages staff to provide superior customer service to all customers, internal and external
• Assures the overall quality, consistency, and completeness of appropriate business and research applications documentation and follow up

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree – field of study: Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or related field.
• Minimum eight (8) years of progressive experience leading highly complex software delivery and support in a healthcare environment
• Minimum of five (5) years management experience.
• Demonstrated experience in design, development, implementation and support of Workday enterprise resource planning (ERP), and/or business applications in a healthcare environment is a plus
• Prior experience working in an academic, research and medical institute.
• Ability to support complex budgets and prior contracting experience.
• Prior support of the Workday platform
• The candidate will have Director level experience with the design, development, implementation of enterprise applications
