Job Title: Head of Enterprise Systems
Location: Stamford, Connecticut (5 days onsite)
Type: Direct Hire

Job Summary: Key partner to VP of IT, leading the team charged with maximizing value from investments in Enterprise SaaS solutions. Hold our internal teams, vendors and partners accountable through well-managed roadmaps and project plans which solve business problems, foster innovation and deliver business value.
Duties And Responsibilities
Strategy
- Business Alignment: Meet regularly with leaders from Sales, Operations, and Finance to stay updated on business challenges and opportunities, ensuring the Tech Team’s priorities are correctly aligned to support the business
- Software Vendor Roadmaps: Maintain awareness of the product roadmaps of all major software platforms in our portfolio, identify opportunities (or risks) proactively and advise VP of IT on any decisions to be made
Stakeholder
- Software Vendor Relationship Mgmt: Maintain working knowledge of our software licensing agreements. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with designated vendor contacts, holding them accountable for contracted commitments and service levels, escalating as necessary.
- Data Team alignment: Work closely with your counterpart on the Data team to ensure and enforce Data Governance and MDM principles
Operations
- Internal Roadmaps & backlogs: Work with your team of Enterprise Solution SMEs to develop, maintain, and publish backlogs and roadmaps for each major software platform in our portfolio. Identify effective strategies to update end users about updates.
- Security: Work with your team of Enterprise Solution SMEs, and Cybersecurity lead, and our software vendors to ensure all cybersecurity best practices are being followed to protect company data
- Support: Ensure support requests for any of our major software platforms, are prioritized and actioned appropriately, with appropriate communication and follow-up, whether from our internal teams, vendors or partners
People
- Team leadership & engagement: Responsible for a small team of high professionals, ensuring they are supported, developed and engaged in their work and see a future with the business. Operate in line with the values & behaviors of the organization
- Training: Work with the Learning & Development need to identify, develop (if needed), update and publish training and job aids for all major software applications ensuring our users are trained on how to use the software effectively
- Communication: Provide written (or video) communication about software availability, updates, maintenance, and changes, as needed
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise solutions, IT strategy, or digital transformation
- 3+ years of leadership/people management
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce and Netsuite (or similar platform)
- Proven expertise in cloud-based SaaS applications including ERP, CRM, Finance, Middleware and Data Warehouse
- Deep understanding of Enterprise Architecture concepts and strategies
- Strong Data Management experience, including MDM and Data Governance strategies
- Experience in a mid-sized or scaling company with a focus on digital transformation
- Strong background in enterprise architecture, integration, and SaaS application governance
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and partnering with C-suite executives
- Experience with Agile Methodology for project management and software development
- Experience Developing or Maintaining a product roadmap(s)
- Enterprise Application Ecosystem – Expertise in NetSuite, Salesforce, and at least 1 data warehouse platform (e.g. Snowflake, including best practices for implementation, integration, and optimization.
- Enterprise Architecture & Integration – Strong understanding of API management, middleware, and data flow orchestration to ensure seamless interoperability between systems.
- Public cloud platforms – like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including cloud security principles, and SaaS application governance.
- Data Strategy & Analytics – Experience with data governance, warehousing, reporting, and real-time analytics to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Business Process Optimization – Knowledge of finance, procurement, sales, and customer support workflows to align technology with operational needs.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management – Strong knowledge of contract negotiation, vendor evaluation, and strategic partnerships to maximize technology investments.
