Job Description: Privacy Compliance Analyst

Location: Onsite in Miami or Dallas

Department: Technology – IT Controls & Compliance

Summary:

The Privacy Compliance Analyst will play a key role in supporting privacy efforts across this Fortune 150 organization. This position will focus on ensuring privacy regulation compliance, implementing cookie audit procedures, managing data subject requests, and collaborating with internal teams to uphold data protection practices.’

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor evolving privacy regulations (e.g., CPRA, VCDPA, CPA, CTDPA, UCPA) and assess their impact
• Conduct website cookie audits to ensure compliance with consent and opt-out mechanisms
• Perform cookie scans to categorize and track new cookies
• Partner with marketing and IT teams to design and test cookie banners and preference centers
• Process Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and maintain accurate reporting (monthly and annual)
• Update and maintain DSAR response templates in line with regulatory changes
• Analyze consumer communication preferences and market trends
• Advise internal teams on privacy best practices and compliance obligations
• Lead and support Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for internal tools and vendors
• Take on additional privacy-related tasks as needed to enhance business value

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in privacy, information management, or a related discipline
• Certifications in data protection or privacy (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of privacy frameworks and laws (e.g., CCPA, GDPR)
• Understanding of encryption methods for data at rest and in transit
• Sharp analytical skills to translate regulations into actionable protocols
• Effective communicator able to engage stakeholders across functions
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and within cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with DPIAs, data mapping, and compliance methodologies
• Adaptable and responsive to changing team needs

Physical Requirements

• Sedentary office position
• Ability to operate computer equipment and occasionally lift and carry up to 25 lbs
• Requires bending, stooping, reaching, and finger dexterity
