Job Title: Technical Project Buyer
Contract: 6 months, extension likely, possible chance to convert
Location: Onsite Monday-Thursday in Miramar, Remote Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Support procurement operations under the NB area, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Source competitive bids from vendors and conduct price comparisons to support cost-effective purchasing decisions.
- Manage purchase order (PO) issuance and ensure timely processing.
- Track and manage invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
- Follow up on approval workflows to ensure timely authorization of procurement activities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve procurement-related issues.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of professional procurement experience
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and vendor management
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or a related administrative role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, time management, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in a corporate or shared services environment
- Familiarity with procurement systems and tools is a plus
