Company Overview:
Gravity is seeking an experienced Senior JD Edwards (JDE) Business Analyst to join a dynamic team supporting enterprise operations. This role is critical in optimizing JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) systems by analyzing business requirements, recommending process improvements, and delivering solutions that align with organizational objectives.

Position Summary:
The Senior JD Edwards Business Analyst (E1) serves as a subject matter expert (SME) for JDE modules, partnering with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business needs into detailed system requirements. The role involves leading system enhancements, supporting implementations and upgrades, and ensuring effective communication between business units and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis & System Optimization

  • Serve as SME for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne modules, with emphasis in Finance, Distribution, Homebuilding, or other relevant areas.

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements.

  • Translate business needs into detailed system requirements and functional specifications.

  • Recommend process improvements and system configurations to enhance operations and reduce manual effort.

  • Lead or support system upgrades, enhancements, and implementations within JD Edwards E1.

Testing & Implementation Support

  • Develop test plans and conduct system, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

  • Collaborate closely with developers, DBAs, and infrastructure teams to ensure effective solution delivery.

  • Provide end-user training, documentation, and ongoing support.

Collaboration & Governance

  • Act as a liaison between business units and IT to ensure consistent communication and alignment of objectives.

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, SOX controls, and compliance requirements.

  • Support project management, process improvements, and enterprise-wide solution implementation initiatives.

Technical Skills & Tools

  • Hands-on experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (minimum 5 years).

  • In-depth knowledge of one or more JDE functional modules (e.g., Finance, Procurement, Homebuilding, Sales Order Management, Manufacturing, Inventory).

  • Familiarity with Orchestrator, UX One, and other JDE toolsets is a plus.

  • Experience with third-party integrations such as EDI, tax, and reporting tools.

  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

  • Experience with JDE upgrade or implementation projects is highly desirable.
