Job Title: Enterprise Systems Administrator
Job Location: Tallahassee, FL (On-Site)
Job Type: Contract (Through 6/30/26)
Job Responsibilities:
The Enterprise Systems Administrator shall serve as a Subject Matter Expert for the Department. The duties and responsibilities of this position are as follows:

• Develop, deploy, and maintain processes that optimize Amazon Web Services (AWS) services and resources
• Perform AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) management activities
• Deploy, configure, and administer AWS security infrastructure
• Perform Microsoft Azure Entra ID and Active Directory management activities;
• Develop and maintain processes that optimize Microsoft server and cloud resources
• Analyze Azure resource performance to identify resource contention and recommend changes or upgrades as needed to ensure optimization
• Develop and maintain technical specifications, standards, procedures, and systems documentation
• Work with data center staff, OIT, and users to perform resource deployments, upgrades, and configuration changes
• Assist Azure application owners/administrators and users with appropriate application access
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve Windows server issues with minimal impact on users
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve Linux server issues with minimal impact on users
• Write PowerShell scripts to be used to monitor server properties and perform Active Directory and Azure management activities
• Research and recommend appropriate technical solutions to meet functional requirements
• Provide recommendations for possible process improvements within the Department’s infrastructure team
• Create schedules for the development and implementation of specific software systems
• Perform additional Systems Administrator tasks as required by the Department.

Required Qualifications;

• Three (3) or more years of AWS experience
• Five (5) or more years of Windows server administration, including experience with three (3) or more years administering Windows 2016 and newer
• Five (5) or more years of Active Directory, Domain Name System (DNS), and Group Policy administration experience in an enterprise environment with 1,000 or more users
• Two (2) or more years of Microsoft Azure/Cloud experience; • Two (2) or more years of AWS experience
• Three (3) or more years of Linux server experience
• Experience writing, testing, and executing PowerShell scripts
• Experience working in a virtual server/Cloud environment
• Experience installing, maintaining, and supporting third-party applications.
