Title: Manager, Enterprise Architecture
Location: Nashville, TN (hybrid 1-2 days)
Job Type: FTE
Description:
The Manager, Enterprise Architecture is responsible for overseeing the strategy and governance of enterprise-wide technology portfolio and architecture management.. This role ensures that business goals and technology solutions remain aligned by developing a cohesive architecture framework, maintaining a forward-looking technology roadmap, and guiding teams toward scalable, secure, and cost-effective design decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a strong enterprise-wide business architecture program and technology roadmap.
- Work closely with business leaders to understand their needs and key outcomes so they can be translated into effective, scalable technology solutions that facilitate key business capabilities and strategy execution.
- Build successful stakeholder relationships with business stakeholders by developing a clear understanding of business outcomes, acting as a trusted internal advisor, and ensuring cost-effective design & delivery of services to meet those needs.
- Assesses emerging technologies for applicability to business objectives, leading proof-of-concept projects, and identifying design opportunities for automation.
- Create and maintain architectural blueprints, roadmaps, and documentation to guide development and integration efforts across the enterprise-wide technology platforms with the help of SMEs and Solution Architects.
- Participating in the development of strategic department goals.
- Assist in the development, implementation and execution of strategic plans.
- Develop and manage a departmental budget.
Experience:
- 10 plus years of demonstrated, progressive enterprise architecture and technology-related management experience.
- Or any equivalent combination of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
- Knowledge of Lean IX tool is a plus.
- Practical knowledge of SAP tools and integrated suite of solutions or similar ERPs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of current and emerging technology and industry trends.
- Knowledge of budgeting and strategic planning processes.
- Effective leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and management skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate individuals and teams to achieve program and project objectives.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
- Master’s degree is desirable.
