Role: Workday HCM Program Manager (Client-Side)
Deployment Type: Workday HCM LaunchExpress
Location: San Francisco, CA (approximately 70% onsite)
Travel: Occasional travel to Sunnyvale and Denver
Engagement: Contract
Overview
This individual would serve as the client-side Program Manager supporting a Workday HCM LaunchExpress deployment. The role would focus on coordinating internal stakeholders and working closely with the implementation partner to help ensure a smooth and successful rollout.
Key Responsibilities

• Act as the client-side program manager overseeing the Workday HCM deployment
• Coordinate across internal stakeholders including HR, IT, and leadership teams
• Work closely with the implementation partner to align on scope, timelines, and deliverables
• Manage project timelines, milestones, risks, and dependencies
• Facilitate project governance, status reporting, and executive updates
• Support cross-functional communication and decision-making throughout the implementation lifecycle

Ideal Background

• Prior experience supporting Workday HCM implementations
• Experience serving as a Program Manager or Project Manager on enterprise system deployments
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills
• Familiarity working alongside system integrators during large enterprise implementations
