Job Title:  Senior Software Engineer
Location: Utah/Hybrid
Job-Type:  Full-Time
Salary Range:  $170K – $190K
Position Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to help build and evolve highly scalable software platforms that support critical business operations. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys tackling complex technical challenges, designing modern distributed systems, and working across a diverse technology stack.
You’ll partner with engineering and product teams to develop cloud-based applications, modernize existing systems, and deliver secure, high-performing software solutions. In addition to writing code, you’ll provide technical guidance, contribute to architectural decisions, and help elevate engineering practices across the team.
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable software applications and distributed services.
• Develop and enhance microservices, APIs, and cloud-native applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions using Agile methodologies.
• Improve the reliability, scalability, and performance of enterprise applications.
• Participate in architectural planning and technology selection for new initiatives.
• Help modernize legacy platforms using contemporary development patterns and cloud technologies.
• Mentor developers through technical leadership, design discussions, and code reviews.
• Explore and implement emerging technologies, including AI-powered capabilities, where they create business value.

Required Experience & Skills:

• 12+ years of professional software development experience building enterprise applications.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience across multiple programming languages, (Java, Python, Go, Rust, Node.js, or JavaScript/TypeScript, etc.).
• Experience developing scalable microservice-based applications and secure RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Hands-on experience with modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, asynchronous communication, and application scalability.
• Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases, including data modeling and performance optimization.
• Proven success delivering complex software solutions within Agile development environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience integrating or working with AI/ML services, large language models (LLMs), or related technologies is a plus.
