Position: C# / Angular Software Developer (Contract)
Location: Seoul, South Korea (Onsite 3 days/week)
Duration: 6–12 Month Contract

Overview
We are seeking an experienced C# / Angular Software Developer to join a global financial technology team supporting a proprietary C# single-page web application. The contractor will work closely with development teams in Romania and London, serving as a local technical resource in Seoul to bridge language and business requirement gaps.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement front-end features and API integrations within the Aspen platform (Angular/C#)
• Develop and maintain back-end services using C#, Azure SQL, and Entity Framework
• Build and integrate REST APIs to support trading and equity workflows
• Translate local Korean business requirements into English user stories for the Romania/London core team
• Provide day-to-day production support during Korean business hours (08:00–17:00 KST)
• Capture and document business requirements; participate in user story creation
• Handle ad-hoc database queries and support business inquiries from the local team
• Coordinate with global team members across Seoul, Romania, London, and the US

Work Allocation (Approximate)

• 60–70% — Front-end development (Angular) and API integration
• ~20% — Documentation, requirements capture, and user story writing
• Remainder — Back-end C# development, SQL queries, and production support. Don’t need stored procedures experience

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of C# development experience (primary requirement)
• Azure cloud development experience (Azure SQL, Azure Functions/Function Apps)
• Proficiency with Entity Framework (ORM between application and database)
• Angular front-end development experience (current version preferred; solid prior exposure acceptable)
• REST API development and integration experience
• Comfortable writing ad-hoc SQL queries
• Strong communication skills in English and Korean; ability to work across global, multicultural teams
• Ability to translate business requirements from Korean stakeholders into technical user stories in English

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in financial services or trading technology
• Familiarity with single-page application (SPA) architecture
• Experience working with distributed/offshore development teams
