About the Role
We are seeking a Staff Enterprise Application Engineer to lead the architecture, integration, support, and continuous improvement of enterprise engineering applications. This role serves as a technical leader responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and reliable solutions that support systems engineering and engineering operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, integration, and support of enterprise engineering applications, including requirements management, systems modeling, and CAD platforms.
• Support digital transformation initiatives and modernization of legacy application environments.
• Develop and maintain automation using Bash and PowerShell scripting.
• Translate engineering workflows into scalable application solutions, integrations, and process automation.
• Manage application reliability, performance, security, upgrades, patching, and incident response.
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to define priorities, roadmaps, testing, and release plans.
• Drive process improvements, standardization, and operational efficiency across the application portfolio.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, training materials, and support resources.
• Mentor team members and provide technical leadership for complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience supporting and administering enterprise engineering applications.
• Experience with systems engineering tools such as IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM), Cameo, DOORS, CAD platforms, or similar technologies.
• Hands-on experience with digital transformation and legacy system modernization.
• Proficiency in Bash and/or PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with application integrations, platform upgrades, and enterprise support (L2/L3).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with IBM Rational Synergy and Change.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and Lean continuous improvement practices.
• Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies and drive adoption across teams.
