Project Manager (Agile/Kanban) — Telecom
We’re hiring a Project Manager to run Jira/Kanban boards and shepherd work from purchase order through field implementation, sitting at the intersection of delivery engineers and field teams. This is a project-manager-style role operating inside a mature, outcome-focused agile team. You’ll be tweaking and improving established processes, not building from scratch.

Location: Onsite 3 days/week in the Charlotte, NC.
Candidates must be local and able to sit with the team in person. This is not a remote or relocation-based role.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and maintain Jira/Kanban boards, ensuring delivery engineers keep tasks updated and progress is tracked to completion
  • Shepherd requests through the full lifecycle — from purchase order to implementation coordination in the field
  • Coordinate across groups to align due dates, fields, and dependencies, particularly with a centralized data engineering organization
  • Build strong working relationships with transport engineering teams
  • Be engaged and proactive, and comfortable being candid and direct when enforcing team operating agreements
  • Manage multiple concurrent workstreams simultaneously
  • Integrate quickly into an established, high-performing team and contribute from day one

What You Bring

  • 3-7 years of enterprise experience in an agilist, Scrum Master, or role
  • Comfortable operating in a Kanban environment; Scrum Master backgrounds transfer well
  • Proficiency with Jira board management and the Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the professionalism to work directly with cross-functional field and engineering teams

Nice to Have

  • Telecommunications or telecom IT industry experience
  • Familiarity with AI tooling such as Copilot to streamline daily work
